Inter-Agency Dialogue on UN CEDAW and the Malaya Lolas

CenterLaw joined the Commission on Human Rights and other relevant government agencies for a dialogue on the implementation of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women decision awarding reparations to the Filipino “comfort women” or the Malaya Lolas. At the forum, CenterLaw presented its position paper on the Malaya Lolas and the Philippines’ obligations under international law.
