Tomorrow, February 25, CenterLaw and Butuyan & Rayel Law Offices will celebrate the 1986 People Power Revolution as a non-working holiday for all of its staff. Since 1987, the People Power Revolution has been commemorated as a non-working holiday every year on February 25, in honor of the important struggle waged and won against the corrupt and violent regime of the Marcos dictatorship. This year, and the previous year, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has designated February 25 as a “working holiday.” By celebrating the anniversary with due regard for its legacy, CenterLaw and Butuyan and Rayel Law Offices remain committed to the preservation of the significance of the People Power Revolution to the nation and to the safeguarding of political freedoms throughout the Philippines.
